Up to 30 students who meet the required National Final Round academic standard may be invited to join the EONZ National Selection Squad.
Squad membership is not Team New Zealand selection.
Eligible foreign-pasport students may join the Squad.
Students must complete the required training and selection components.

Attendance at the EONZ Camp is compulsory for all students who wish to remain eligible to progress to the International Final Round in Greece. No alternative, remote or substitute arrangement will be offered.

NZ school students may participate regardless of passport.
Eligible foreign-passport students may join the Squad.

Tie-Breaking and Moderation
Where composite results are tied, EONZ applies a documented and moderated tie-breaking process using National Final Round performance, written analysis, Camp performance and, where required, further structured assessment.
Final Team Announcement
The final confirmed Team New Zealand roster will be published only after acceptance, eligibility checks, payment requirements, publication consent and any necessary reserve replacements have been completed.
